Why We Love It

• Our rich and peppery sauce provides a savory French-style finishing touch to grilled or roasted beef. Made with slow-simmered beef stock and demi-glace – as well as mirepoix – it recreates the flavor of pan juices left behind after cooking steak, combined with vegetable stock and herbs, then thickened with cream and highlighted with brandy. Simply heat and serve.

Receiving Instructions

• Store unopened at room temperature for up to 24 months. Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days.
• Sauce will naturally separate. Shake before use.

Preparation Instructions

• In a fry pan, using your desired cooking oil, sear 1 lb. (500g) steak until done to your liking. Transfer to a platter.
• Pour off excess fat from pan, add all the sauce and stir into pan drippings.
• Simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, or until sauce reaches desired consistency. For a rich finish, add a splash of heavy cream.
• Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.
